Today we have two Kapoor sayings.

"And then on Monday, the whole damn cycle starts again."
"Confucianism isn't like Taoism, which is all airy fairy."

(Exact wording? Are you kidding me?!)

i wont be at doc's on saturday night......
and guess what I'M HAPPY

Well, it doesn't really matter since I can't go on Saturday anyways. But after talking with Andy, I figured that it really wouldn't matter. I just always see the reminder for cashiers (NOONE BORN AFTER THIS DATE, 1985 ALLOWED INTO R MOVIES). Oh, and the reason I'd want to see it at CineMagic is because it's free. Why pay if I don't have to? Probably so I can go with friends, but hey, um, nevermind.

Okay, I'm testing out a new commenting system, so people can make direct comments to individual posts, rather than making a new post for small splatters. This should hopefully clear out some of the clutter of "yeah, that's right" and "you're stupid, stupid" posts and leave more of the actual rants. Tada! You people should be able to discern where your post belongs.

I would be somewhat interested in helping out with a server, especially if there was a chance that I could eventually host the Well Fed Con on it too.....
give me some details as they come.

Yeah, those ladybugs SUCK. I heard that they aren't really ladybugs though, they're some asian beetles or something. It's always the asians. Oh, and I only mean that in a non-racist way, because people like Nick and Stenson aren't really asian, they're like bananas. They're yellow on the outside but they're white on the inside. And yes, I stole that from some asian guy who spoke at out church, so no, I'm not an amazing humorist. This paragraph wasn't even about ladybugs, but they suck.

I feel sorry for CineMagic, sorta. I found out the reason I've had to go home early the last two nights is because they can't afford to keep us all on for the whole night. It's especially unfortunate tonight, because we were having a great turnout. I don't really know why we had such large crowds, since weekdays usually suck. But as far as CineMagic's crowds go, we had a huge one.

As long as I'm talking theaters, I wish I could see Red Dragon free, but they won't let me. It's rated R, and I couldn't go unless my free companion was over 18. I don't think my parents would take me to see that, so I won't be able to go (unless I can buy a cheap friend). This same rule kept me out of Ecks vs. Sever, which I wanted to see, but recently I heard it sucked, so I don't feel so bad now. I guess I can wait for the R movies to come to DVD... *sigh*

Oh, and Andy: what? Did you get your license, are you getting it, or are you close to getting it? Ahh, screw it, I'll find out from you later.

Stenson: Um, what daily clean up?

I really don't know my server costs, because I'd have to know how much money I have to spend. Then I'd pull my evil strings to get myself the lowest deal I can find. For a year, I can probably buy a couple hundred megs for about twenty bucks, but those are completely abstract numbers. For my purposes, though, I want at least fifty megs and a pretty high transfer limit. This site can be more than just a blog, but those are just my foolish kiddy dreams.

Okay, and I don't think God reads our minds, because there's no point in it. He wouldn't have to. Hmm, I'll bet he knows someone who wants to give me a free server...

Okay. Anyone who I've blabbed to lately has found that I've been looking into servers and other sorts of fun. Why, might you ask? Well, for here, of course! Right now I feel that this site is confined by the free services it's on. Why do I bring this up? To put it frankly, good service costs money. I don't like to spend money. However, I probably will, because if I do fork over some cash, I'm going to max out my cash and get as much server as possible, so I can then use it for my own evil, evil purposes. I'm only slightly curious, but would any of you be willing to put some money in the pot? If I really am going to go through with this, anyone who chipped in would get a proportionate slice of the pie, if you catch my drift. You pay for a fifth of the server, you get (roughly) a fifth of the space. Initially space wouldn't be an issue, but over time it might come up, so hey, set down the rules before they're needed, yunno? But right, would anyone be interested in a joint effort?

Josh, you just can't cope with my obvious skill and making short comments long ones. So poop on you.

Okay. I'm passively PISSED OFF right now, because my computer crashed JUST as I clicked publish to send off a good two pages of my writing. So this time I'm composing in Notepad, so I can ward off whatever evils might await me again.

I HAD summed up most of my thoughts from the last week, but hey, that's all been shot like fish in a barrell. I think I spelled barrell wrong.

I had a fun time at homecoming, lame predance notwithstanding. No offense to anyone who could be reading this, but I really don't think hanging out in a basement and eating pizza should be a legal way to warm up for a dance. Not even a middle school dance. Again, sorry. But hey, I had a beeyootiful date to accompany myself, and I couldn't thank her enough for going with me. Once we got to the dance I think the real fun started up, because we sort of slipped away from our group and I guess hung out with the bandies/megagroup.

I tried to get my whiteboy groove on, but to be plain and simple, it really never got on. Even if it had, there really wasn't much of it to go around, so the end result wouldn't have been much different than what I displayed. I spent most of the time consciously aware that I had very little groove going on, so I was adjusting carefully and constantly, so as to minimize the appearance of being "stuck in a rut." But trust me, I tried, and perhaps I would have broken a sweat without it being stupid hot in the gym; I was working hard.

Oh hey, speaking of work, I can add something that wasn't in my first draft. I just got my first call from a coworker asking if I could sub for them tomorrow. So you know what? Come to CineMagic Monday and Tuesday night, and get a free look at me in my uniform. I'll be ushering Monday, concessioning (what?) Tuesday. I don't actually know how to usher, so if you want some added laughs then go Monday.*

I want to be a poet. I couldn't pull off the gothic style poetry, nor the coffee-house style, but I think I can do Seussian. I love rhyme. I could blame my upbringing, but it's simply that I love rhyme. It just has such ring to it... yeah, I'm in love, and her name is Rhyme.

Okay, so my future isn't in poetry. So then I thought I could transition to prose. I might be able to write stories or papers or something. As much as I just hate to float my honesty boat, I think I'm pretty good at fleshing out ideas. Ever since Milburn told me I hold back too much in writing, I've tried harder to get those ideas expressed, and I think I'm having a lot of continual improvement.

Band has traditions up the wazoo. I like most of the quirky ones, like hats and all, but the musical ones, frankly, suck. I think we should really expand more and play some new stuff. This year is a lot better, but we as a band really haven't scratched the surface of our musical potential. I've seen some of the band's library, and we probably have at least a good 20 songs we aren't playing. We have a lot of great stuff there, from swing, to rock, to lyrical, jazz... we have it all! Do we play any of it? Nope. We have about five songs we rotate. I don't really blame Jarvis, because I think she has plans for us to really move out, but it's mostly the band and their traditions. Stupid tradition.

Okay, with the help of Notepad, I think I'm done for now. Until I talk later, remember that Big Brother is watching, two plus two is five, and war is peace. Later!

*Don't actually show up.
